Spanish I:

Warm-up: Students completed their vocab 4B handout. After the warm-up, we went over the quiz 4A from yesterday. For the rest of class, the students completed a reading activity and we went over it to check for comprehension. Announcements: Quiz 4B will be on Tuesday, 2-7-12 and Presentation 4B will be due on Thursday, 2-9-12 (Students will work on their presentations in class on Wednesday, 2-8-12).

Spanish II:

Today we went over the Irregular verbs activity handout from yesterday. For the rest of class, the students worked on a song activity in which they had to fill in the blanks to the lyrics of the song by using the vocab and grammar from 3A. They also translated the song. Homework: Finish translating the song. Announcements: The Quiz on the 6 irregular verbs will be on Wednesday, 2-1-12. Students need to know the preterit tense of: ser, ir, tener, estar, poder, and hacer.
