Spanish I and Spanish II

Today all classes finished working on their study guides for the final.

*Make sure that you study your guide and all of the vocab. *Finals start tomorrow.

*All study guides were checked off for a quiz grade today.

Monday

Spanish I and Spanish II:

Today all classes worked on their study guides for the final. We will continue to work on these until tomorrow.

Spanish I and Spanish II:

Spanish I:

Today we finished the restaurant presentations.

Spanish II:

Today we went over the answers to the test from yesterday and the students received their study guide for the Final Exam.

Tuesday

Spanish I:

Today half of the groups presented. We will finish presentations tomorrow.

Spanish II:

Today the students took their Chapter 7 test.

Monday

Spanish I:

Today the students continued to work in their groups in order to finish their restaurant presentations. Groups will begin presenting tomorrow. *Make sure that you bring all necessary materials tomorrow. 

Spanish II:

Today the students completed a study guide and we went over the answers. Chapter 7 test will be tomorrow.  

Friday

Spanish I:

Today the students worked on their restaurant projects with their group members.  Announcements: The students will continue to work in their groups on Monday. We will begin presentations on Tuesday. Download Restaurant Project

Spanish II:

Today the students watched a short video about a family from Puerto Rico. After the video, they answered questions about the video and they worked on an activity handout. Homework: Finish the handout. Announcements: Chapter 7 test will be on Tuesday.

Thursday

Spanish I:

Warm-up: Work book p.69 act. #18. Today we went over numbers 200-100,000 on p.247. The students practiced saying these numbers. Announcements: Since we had enough time at the end, the students were grouped today instead of tomorrow. They received the rubric for the restaurant project and they began to work in their groups. They will work in their groups tomorrow and on Monday. We will begin presentations on Tuesday. Download Restaurant Project

Spanish II:

Warm-up: Work book p.60 act. #16. We went over the answers to the open quiz handout from yesterday. We discussed how to make comparisons in Spanish (p.207 in the text book). In groups, the students came up with 8 comparisons and each group presented to the rest of the class. Announcements: Chapter 7 test is next Tuesday.
