AP Chemistry

You will be doing the Beer-Lambert Lab on Mon and Tues.  Your test on Ch 10 & 11 is Wed.  After that unit we will begin Kinetics.

Your Lab Books are due with three labs on 12/17.

Chemistry

Your test over Ch 15 & 16 is Thurs 12/6.  All homeowrk will be due on that date.  The homework includes:  Note taking guide with Electron dot diagrams, Ch 15 & 16 worksheets, More Lewis structures, May the Forces be with you, and Bonding and Molecular shapes. 

We begin a new unit 12/7 form Ch 7.  Exams begin 12/19....start studying now!

AP Chemistry

We are working on Solutions this week.  We wil do a lab on Thurs and Friday on Colligative properties.  Please bring one small bottle of Club Soda per Lab group.  We will be ready to test over Ch 10 & 11 on Dec. 5. 

Chemistry

We will be working on a Student Designed Lab this week.  On Monday you will have time in class to decide how to do the required testing.  On Tues you must have an apporved procedure and a data sheet in order to begin the Lab.  You may write the formal business letter and the procedure on the computer.  Only ONE copy per lab group is required.  The final copy is due to me by Friday.

Your last portfolio of this semester is due on Tues 11/27.

Chemistry

On Monday we will begin Bonding - Ch 15.  Read the chapter so that you will be able to understand the notes more easily.

Remember that you already have this unit's Portfolio assignment.  It is due Nov 27th!

AP Chemistry

Our test on Gas Laws - Ch 5 will be Monday!  I'm expecting great things on this test!

Tues. we begin Ch 10 - Characteristics of Solids and Liquids and that will lead us into solutions.

Wed is our Field trip to GA Tech - Yea!!  Remeber to bring money for lunch in the studnet center.   For those not going, I will have class work for you to complete.
