Notice that on your new October Calendar your Unit #3 test is scheduled for Wed. October 3rd. All homework (notice the problems for Ch 9)will be due that day. The test covers Ch 8, 9.1,9.2, & 10.1
The Lab on making models may be completed tomorrow if you did not finish today. We will cover Ch 9 - sections 9.1 & 9.2 tomorrow & Friday.

Our Test for this Unit will be on Monday, Oct 1st. You will be testing over both Ch 5 & Ch 28. You should be working on your portfolio which is due Friday of this week - Sept 28. Leave the last portfolio unit in your folder so that your folder becomes a cumulative record of your element. Also be sure to include the rubric in the front pocket.

Presentations on History of the Atom will begin tomorrow. You should be prepared to begin when you come to class. The Projector will be available for Power Point presentations. If we do not finish (Wed. is Early Release) we will complete those on Thurs. That means that our Pennium Lab will have to be postponed until Monday.
Be working on your Unit #2 Portfolio - those are to be turned in on the 27th.
We finished the multiple choice portion of our Ch 7 test today. Tomorrow will be about 6 multiple choice from old AP Chem Exams and a Free Response question. As we are on an Early Release schedule there will be only about 30 minutes of class time.
Our next unit is Ch 8 - Bonding. We will begin that information on Thurs. Please note that Ch 8 Book Work is posted on the Sept calendar.

Today we are covering Elements and Compounds. Be sure to get a Periodic Table to keep for this year! Take care of it - you will need all year. Tomorrow is Lab - closed toe shoes please. Wed. is a review and wrap up day for Ch 2. Thurs is a review game and Fir is your test covering Ch 2 and any previous material.
Notice the changes on the calendar for this week. We will cover the Periodic Table today, Lab Tuesday, Rview & pre-Lab on Wed, and Lab again on Thursday.
If you are having difficulty with Quantum Numbers please plan to stay after school on Thurs for some extra help.
