Important Dates, Announcements and Graduation Information!

Attached you will find the Senior Packet. Included in the packet, you will find important dates and times on all information pertaining to graduation as well as the senior exam schedule.  The senior packet will be mailed after the 12 week progress report in April.  Please be advised that there is a graduation contract included in the packet that must be signed and returned by May 3rd to your advisor.

PTSA Scholarship Opportunity!

The LHS PTSA is offering five $1,000.00 scholarships to qualifying Seniors. Seniors interested in applying must complete an application and answer three essay questions focused on the student's community service efforts throughout their high school years. Community service through School Clubs, Honor Societies, Athletics or outside the school is applicable when completing the PTSA scholarship application. All seniors must be a 2012- 2013 PTSA member.  Seniors that are not currently PTSA Members may join PTSA if they wish to apply for this scholarship opportunity.  Please attach $5.00 (new members only) with your scholarship application when submitting for consideration.  Scholarship Applications are available in the Counseling Office and should be turned in no later than April 3, 2013 to the Main Office.  All Scholarship questions should be directed to Patti Lavender at DrPattiLavender@aol.com with "PTSA Scholarship" in the subject line.

 

Graduation Announcements Delivered on March 13th!

Graduation announcements will be delivered on March 13th during all lunch periods in the gym concession area.  Make sure if you ordered announcements you pick them up!

Graduation will be held May 23, 2013 at 3:30 pm at Kennesaw State University. More information will follow as soon as we have it.

Last Chance to Order Before Prices Go Up!

Herff Jones will be taking make-up cap/gown and announcement orders during lunch on Tuesday December 4th. This will be the last chance that students will be able to place their order at Lassiter before the prices go up. An $80 deposit is needed to place an order.

You can also place your order online, www.herffatlanta.com  where orders can be placed and payments can be made.

Welcome to the 2013 Senior Blog.  This blog will be dedicated to keeping seniors and parents of seniors up to date on all senior class activities as well as any other important dates, events, reminders and general information pertaining to the 2013 senior class.  There will be information regarding senior class dues, senior luau as well as graduation announcements and cap and gown orders coming very soon!
