Math 3 - HW Book p. 69 #1-5, 8-10 (ignore the way the book writes end behavior and do it the way we did in class), 17-19 (do a good job on these and use your graphing calculator!)

Math 3-Quiz tomorrow on transformations of parent graphs, symmetry, and domain and range.

Finish through #8 in your packet by Friday. Bring it to class tomorrow and you can work on it after the quiz.

 

Tues 9/27

Math 3- 5 question quiz tomorrow on symmetry (10 mins max)

Finish #7 on packet for HW

Thursday -Quiz on transformations, symmetry, and domain and range of polynomial functions

Math 3- HW 1. Tell domain and Range for parent graph worksheet

                2. Tell domain and range for Transformation worksheet 2 (front and back). This was the first worksheet we did in the unit.

                 3. Make sure you have completed pages 1-5 (omit 4 a,b,e-i) in the packet (we did 99% of this in class.)

***TYPO ALERT****   On transformation worksheet 1, # 5 should NOT have a square on the absolute value!!

Check your answers with your graphing calculator!!!!

Monday 9/19

MATH III TEST TOMORROW! (TUES 9/20)

Test will cover:

Vertex Edge graphs

Writing the equation of a parabola given 3 points using a matrix equation

Graphing systems of linear inequalities

Linear Programming Problems

Students were given a review sheet to work on in class. It should be turned in tomorrow with the 6 homework stamps for a homework grade for the unit.

Thurs 9/15

Math 3 Hw- Finish worksheet on linear programming. We will have a review sheet tomorrow for the test, go over it Monday, and have the test on Matrices Part 2 Tuesday 9/20

The test will cover:
