For the Week of February 28 - March 4 ...............9th Lit/Comp Classes

1st period with Mr. Thompson - Vocabulary packets were given out today.  The packet, along with the assignment that appears on the classroom blog is due on Wednesday.  The vocab quiz is Friday.

5th period with Mrs. Roth - Vocab Lesson 10 was handed out today.  The packet is due Friday.  Vocab Lesson 10 quiz is Friday.

7th period with Mrs. Crandall - We will continue our study of the Odyssey.

10th Lit/Comp

All 10th Lit classes have begun their study of poetry.  There are no homework assignments for the February break !!!

However, if you have not turned in your chivalry project, please do so when you return.

9th and 10th Lit/Comp

9th Lit/Comp classes are beginning their study of the epic.  Homer's Odyssey is the epic poem the class will be studying.  Each class will have different assessments throughout the epic unit, so be sure to check the teacher's blog.

10th Lit/Comp T- omorrow, we will begin our unit on poetry.  Vocab Lesson 10 quiz will be Friday.

Looking at the week of February 14 - 18

9th Lit/Comp

1sy Period - We will be having a vocab quiz on Friday.  If any student wishes to take the peotry quiz, please follow Mr. Thmpson's instructions.

5th Period - We are beginning our study of an epic with The Odyssey.

7th Period - We will begin our study of myths/legends and on to the study of an epic poem, The Odyssey.

 

10th Lit/Comp

Myths and Legends test will be Wednesday, February 16.  Vocab Lesson 10 quiz will be Friday.

 

 

 

10th Lit/Comp (2nd and 3rd periods)

We will be finishing our study of legends and myths on Wednesday.  Students will have an application assessment on the material we have covered.  Lesson 10 Vocab was given out today.  Possible quiz next Friday.

10th Li/Comp with Mrs. Mauney

We are nearing the end of our King Arthur study so be looking for a test to be planned for the near future.

In addition, Vocabulary  Lesson 9 packet will be due this Friday, 02-11-11.  Flashcards will also be due and the quiz will be Friday, as well.  Be sure to study Thursday night.

10th Literature 2nd and 3rd periods with Mrs. Mauney

Be sure to visit Mrs. Mauney's blog for the Morte D'Arthur 20 question homework assignment.  Answer each question in a complete sentence.  This assignment is due Monday, February 7.
