Monday - all homework is due; review and discuss "The Prologue" and "The Pardoner's Tale";H.W.- start discussion on King Arthur- start to read "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" - first 3 pages and questions handout due tomorrow.
MONDAY, DEC. 12 - TEST ON CANTERBURY TALES AND KING ARTHUR
Tuesday - Today we reviewed- "The Prologue" and "The Pardoner's Tale" .H.W.-12/6- Read the next three pages of "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" and complete handout due 12/07.
Wednesday- 12/07- Homework check at start of class. Intro. to King Arthur and medieval romance and "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" powerpoints.
The rest of the week will revolve around King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table and grammar review-details to follow.
Extra Credit - Sir Gawain's shield pentangle project- due Monday 12/12.
Thursday and Friday - read and discussed "Sir Gawain and the Green Kinght"; also watched a dvd that explained the symbolism in the story.
