Monday - Last SAT vocabulary words - #77 -97  from Macbeth are due.  We will review vocabulary and discuss test essay on paradox and equivocation.  Finish review crossword puzzle.

Words - #61-76 due Friday- Oct. 28; #77-97 - due Monday 10/31.

Macbeth - play will be finished this week; Play content (mc and essay) and vocabulary test- Wed. Nov. 2nd

Monday - Friday - Each student will be assigned a part of Act 4 and 5 to recite, explain, answer questions and handout for a grade this week.

Tuesday - Macbeth field trip- please dress appropriately, bring extra money for lunch at The Varsity and for snacks at Shakespeare's Tavern; students not attending will report to room 926 during their English class period for a Macbeth review handout.

Wednesday - Vocabulary Due- Review; Finish Act II questions and start Act III

Thursday - Act II voc. and content quiz; Macbeth themes; Act III

Act I quiz (voc. and content) will be Thursday, Oct. 13th.

Macbeth is in our class -green book, at home -gray book, and found on numerous free websites on the Internet.

Many students find having a copy of Cliffs Complete Macbeth helpful - full on notes and tips! This is available at local bookstores and Amazon.

Monday - Collect papers and projects; finish Renaissance reading and handout, start reading Macbeth- expect quizzes each day; handouts - questions and Macbeth vocabulary

Tuesday - Continue study of Macbeth; during the week we will review PSAT skills.

Wednesday - Macbeth- Act I

Thursday - Macbeth continues; Presentations start

Friday - Anglo Saxon Presentations in the theater!!!  Bring projects and food items to theater; items that need refrigeration bring to room 408 - next to school store; Remember to take projects out of room 924 and bring to theater before school starts.
