AP Spanish

We will finish up presentations today and tomorrow and then begin to formulate cultural backgrounds that will help with the written and oral presentation portion of the AP exam.

We will continue to work with the environmental vocabulary and soon move to other potential topics. Needless to say, more oral and written practice are coming as well.

Spanish Honor

Meeting tomorrow, 15th, 7:50 in room 400. We need to get some people in skylight selling buttons for Lassiter Helping Students and also need more students to volunteer for the after school program at Rocky Mount.

The students are doing a research project in the media center and presentations of that research will begin Wednesday or Thursday, depending on effects from the Renaissance Honor Card Day.

Keep plugging along on that vocabulary. Quiz from chapter 3 soon.

Keep watching Spanish language television...even 10 minutes a day can help your listening comprehension and help you expand your vocabulary.

We are working on a cultural presentation about various topics of interest in the Spanish speaking world. We will be presenting on either Wednesday or Thursday, depending on class period.

Final semester project will be coming out right after Thanksgiving week. More news soon.
