I'm spending spring break at home with shingles. :-(

Although shingles is not contagious, chicken pox is and shingles comes from the chicken pox virus.  Therefore, if you have not had chicken pox or the vaccine and show any unusual symptoms, you might get checked for chicken pox.  And I hope you are having a great (and healthy) break.

BRING CANS FOR THE FOOD DRIVE!

Advisement - Foster Care Support Foundation -October 2, 2012

     Beta club is sponsoring a fundraiser for the Foster Care Support Foundation (http://www.fostercares.org). The club is collecting new and used clothes and toys for the foster care kids. Just bring in these items to me and I'll hold supplies during the day until a Beta club member collects the donations Tuesday after school, and they will collect every Tuesday during the month of October.  The homeroom with the most donations will receive Chick-fil-a biscuits for their entire homeroom class. This is a great cause and a fun way to earn a free breakfast. This is an amazing way to give back to the community.

Advisement - Bring calculators and pencils for the PSAT tomorrow!

This is just a reminder that we are giving the PSAT tomorrow, October 12, 2011 and that all students grades 9-11 need to bring their calculator and several #2 pencils.  It would be advisable NOT to bring your cell phone, but if you do, I'll keep in in a box for you while you are taking this nationally recognized test.
