MONDAY - Today we covered section 1.4 (Graphs of Functions). I have included some links to notes and examples that I found on the internet. Hopefully these will help the students if they have questions that were not covered in class. Please continue to encourage your students to get any extra help that they may need.

HOMEWORK CHANGE: Do the problems listed on the calendar for Monday 9-22-08
WEDNESDAY: The juniors took the GHSG Writing test today which impacted class time. We went over some of the homework problems from 1-4.
HOMEWORK SUGGESTION: If you have completed all the problems listed on the calendar for 9-19 and 9-22, you should complete problems 81, 83, 87, 89, 91, 93, 95, and 97 from the review problems listed on the calendar for 10-2. These are the problems that relate to section 1-4 that we will discuss as review prior to the test over this material. Realizing that some of the students won't check the blog, this assignment will not be due for a grade tomorrow. I will however take it up for a grade within the next few days.
THURSDAY: We will concentrate on shifting, reflecting and stretching graphs.
HOMEWORK CHANGE: Do the problems listed on the calendar for Tuesday 9-23-08 and Wednesday 9-24-08. Also make sure that you have the 1.4 review problems (# 81-97 listed for 10-02-08) completed by class on Monday.
