Assignments for the week of January 26-30

This week students will cover material in Chapter 4 and complete a quiz on Wednesday.  Also, students will participate in two activities meant to reinforce principles learned during the unit.  On Thursday and Friday students will cover Chapter 5.

Assignments for the Week of January 26-30

This week 1st period will complete, submit and present their completed Martin Luther King, Jr. projects to the class. The remainder of the week, students will complete exercises 46-49, complete a visual vocab assignment and take a test.

The students in 7th period will continue work on the Palmer Construction web site redesign and the Career Tech web site redesign.

Unit 1 Review Material

You will find a Chapter Summary guide and a Chapter overview PowerPoint attached to this post.  Please use the review material to prepare for your Unit 1 Test on Wednesday. 

Also, don't forget the visual and written pieces of the Adam Smith project are due on Friday.  You will have Thursday in class to work on your project.

Welcome Back!

Returning students will received a modified syllabus and parent signature form, which is due on Friday. The first skill students will learn upon their return is how to effectively use layer in their web design.  After this students will either choose to work individually or with a partner to complete a home page design.  Students will design a home page for a product to meet the needs of many people making new years resolutions.

WELCOME!

This semester students will learn the functions of our economic system and how they relate to their lives. This week we will begin by discussing needs, wants and scarcity. On Friday, students will take a quiz on Chapter 1.

Students will also be introduced to the Marketplace.org assignment.
