Weeks of May 4 - May 15

On Monday and Tuesday students will complete their EOCT in Economics.  Wachovia will speak with students about Identity Theft on Wednesday. Thursday and Friday will be devoted to Understanding your Credit.  The following week students will participate in a Budget Ball activity, Thursday will be used to review material for the final.  Depending on the students schedule they will take their final on either Friday, Monday or Tuesday.  The final will cover material from Chapters 16 & 17.  The review PowerPoints can be found below.

Students are to create a portfolio site highlighting a minimum of five previously created web sites.  The home page should provide information about the student and can even include a picture.  The five sites selected should be stellar examples of their web design work.  All navigation, pictures, links, etc. should be in proper working order.  If five sites are not considered of top quality then additional sites will have to be created.

 

Presentations will begin on May 19^th.  Graduation seniors must submit their completed projects on May 15^th.

Week of April 27 - May 1

This week Chapters 16 & 17 will be reviewed prior to the Economics EOCT to be given on May 4 & 5.  Students also have the opportunity to attend after school review sessions on April 28 & 30 from 3:30 - 4:30 to prepare for the test.

Additionally, students have the opportunity to complete the Medium length test on USAtestprep.com for the option to replace one bad test grade.  To replace a bad test grade you must submit the test by 10:00 this Thursday, April 30th.

Week of April 13-17

This week students will review Chapter 14 and take a quiz over the material on Wednesday.  Thursday and Friday Chapter 15 will be covered.  Students will also be expected to complete a take home test on USATESTPREP.com.  Students have the option to complete the 20 questions quiz as many times as necessary to receive the best grade desired on the Macroeconomics section.  All quiz grades will be retrieved Sunday evening.  The highest grade earned will be recorded.

The week of March 30 - April 3

This week students will complete the review of Chapter 13 and participate in a test review of material from Chapters 12 & 13. Students will review on Wednesday and complete their test on Thursday.
