Next Week

In Math, we will be working on the angles- Acute,Obtuse and Right angle. We will be measuring the angles with a protractor. We have finished watching a Huck Finn movie. We will be working on the each chapter in detail,focussing on main idea and "WH" questions.

Georgia State Fair

Spend some time with your family at the North Georgia State Fair Tuesday,Sep 27th from 4pm to 9pm. Free admission for one person and their chaperon. Have fun with free dinner and free rides.

Tuesday, September 20th - we will take all students who did not get their pictures made at Go-Day to get their school pictures for the year book.  We will also make sure an updated school id is made from the school picture.

Week of 9/19

We are reading an adapted version of "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" by Mark Twain. We will be watching a movie and make a visual model after we read a book. Everyday the students get 5 spelling words to work on. In Math, We have started on Exponents. We will still be working on Exponents.Please check with your kid if she/he has a homework for the weekend.

This Week

We read a story on 9/11 and had a moment of silence. We did lot of activities on the story. Our CBI's are 1st Tuesday of every month. We have missed this month. We will start our CBI's from next month. I will communicate in adavance about our site. Parents,please check their communication notes. We worked on Fractions, money and word problems.
