Spanish II

We finished presentations. Then you completed a vocabulary puzzle for a grade. See me to obtain one. After the puzzle you started your bingo board. Finish for homework.

Spanish III

We went to the media center to practice vocabulary on www.conjuguemos.com and then you finished your powerpoint presentation about your life in another country. Today is the last day you get to work on your presentation in class. Please finish your powerpoint at home. If you need to use a computer at school, you can work in my classroom before or after school.

April 1st - sentences due        April 15th - powerpoint due

Spanish II

You presented fantastic projects about your childhood! Good job chicos! Your sentences in Spanish and your posters were very good.

Announcements: VOCAB quiz 4B on Friday.

Spanish III

You completed a vocabulary puzzle today and then did a 1/2 sheet with definitions about vocab. Both were for a reading grade. After these activities you completed a vertical 1/2 sheet on nature verbs. Use these on your skits.

Annoucements: FRIDAY: Your projecet sentences are due. (My life if I lived in ____ country.)

Thursday: QUIZ on NATURE VOCAB.

Thursday 03/24

Spanish II

We practiced indirect object pronouns today as well as the imperfect tense with sentences around the room.

TEST TOMORROW VOCAB 4A, IMPERFECT AND INDIRECT OBJECT PRONOUNS.

Spanish III

You practiced spelling vocabulary words and then you started to brainstrom your next skit. See me for guidelines sheet and due dates.

Tuesday 03/22

Spanish II

We answered questions about childhood, we started the notes on idirect object pronouns Download Intro to 4A vocab imperfect verbs and ind obj pronouns b and we started writing sentences about your childhood. I introduced the project. You will present on the 29 of march.

Spanish III

Test today on subjuntivo and conditional.

Monday 03/21

Spanish II

We will start a project on 03/22. Please bring a picture of you as a child and 9 other pictures/clip art to represent what you did as a child.

Spanish III

Test on Tuesday 03/22 on condicional y subjuntivo.

Thursday 03/17

Spanish II

We began by doing an A/B partener activity. You had to write a definition, antonim or synonim of the vocabulary words on your sheet. THen you got with a companero and you guessed the vocabulary word. Then we took the vocab quiz. We ended with another speaking activity which you turned in.

Spanish III

We went to the media center to start our Nature/conditional project. See me to get a project sheet.

The project sentences are due 4/1/11. The rough draft powerpoint on 4/15 and the presentation will be on 4/22.

The subjunctive/imperfect test will be NEXT tuesday.

The listening quiz on  nature vocabulary is TOMORROW/FRIDAY.  

Wednesday 03/16

Span II

You wrote definitions for the warm up. As a class, we guess the vocabulary word you described. Then you finished the interviews and turned it in for a speaking grade. Finaly, we did 2 listening activities (to be graded) and then on the back of the listening sheet, you wrote 6 questions in the impefect tense that you will ask a compañero tomorrow.

Homework: Study for the listening quiz tomorrow.

Span III

No warm up. We  started the class by working on  a "zig zag" activity using the conditional tense. What would you do? You guys came up with very interesting zig-zags! Good job! Then to review vocabulary for our quiz on Friday, we played seated slap, a vocabulary game.

Monday 03/14

Span II

We continued with the imperfect tense Download Intro Imperfect tense . See me for a copy of the organizer. For homework, you received a paragraph. Complete it with the correct imperfect verbs.

Span III

You presented the dialogues. For homework finish drawing your bingo board. We will play tomorrow.
