We have been focusing on the last two sections of Chapter 8. Today we went to work outside on a translation sheet that included several tenses. It was nice out there.

Extra Credit for Spanish II and III
For Monday, you may cook a Mexican dish for the class. You have to present in Spanish:
1. The part of Mexico the dish is from. 2. What type of food it is (dessert or main dish) 3. Name of dish (for example, "empanadas") 4. You must turn in the recipe (English ok).
Spanish II: You have to give a description of the dish using food vocabulary and adjectives.
Spanish III: You have to give a description of the dish using phrases on opinion such as (Me parece que...etc...) The extra credit may replace a homework grade, add points or add points to a low quiz grade.
