Monday - Friday Nov 9th - 13th

This week we will start secion 2 of chapter 4. As a cultural activity, we are going to watch a video on Ecuador. You will learn more adjecties to describe good students. You will write about a person you admire, interview your classmates about who they know and what places they are familiar with. Please see Mrs. Hernandez if you are absent. She will give you any sheets you might have missed. Have a great week! :)

There will be a quiz on Wednesday 11/18 on section 4.2. There might be a cultural day on 11/20 if you are on your best behavior and try your best on all assignments.  

Week of November 2nd to the 6th

We are starting a new unit called: "What are the characteristics of a good student?"

This week we will start Ch.4. We will be learning the primer paso vocabulary. We will be using our text book and workbook this week ...please bring it on Monday and Wednesday. :) On Thursday we will translate some sentences and on Friday we will have a speaking activity with our classmates.

Week 26 october to the 30th.

This week we will continue to learn about hosehold chores, and to talk about hobbies. Please review your blue vocab sheet everyday.

Monday: You practiced with a packet. If you were absent, please see me to obtain one.

Tuesday: You went to the media center and practiced vocabulary, and sentences with DO pronouns. For extra practice, you can login at home at www.conjuguemos.com.

Wednesday and Thursday: You will be writing a script because you will present a skit about chores. Today you received the instructions and rubric. Download Span II 3.2 and 3.3 ROLEPLAY

Friday: Chapter 3 test. It will include all three sections. (Reflexive verbs and daily routine, chores and complaining, direct obejct pronouns and responsabilities, hobbies)

Monday - Presentations about a daily routine

Tuesday - We started the new vocabulary on the back of the blue vocab sheet. See page 93 to fill it out. Then you recieved a practice sheet. See me to get one.

Thursday 10/15

QUIZ today. If you were absent, please make an appt. to make up your quiz. Avoid getting a zero! :)

Today you worked on the project for this sections of the chapter. See me to get the guidelines. For tomorrow you need to bring the outline you worked on today and materials to create your props.

Activities: As part of the culture and listening standards, we listend to and sang a popular song in Latin America. Julieta Venega's "Eres para mi" from her CD "Limon y sal".

Annoucements: QUIZ tomorrow! Study your blue vocab sheet for bathroom items and meaning of verbs, and the orange sheet to practice conjugating reflexive verbs. We start the project tomorrow!!! :)

We've continued with reflexive verbs. Yesterday youcompleted a worksheet that was taken for a grade. numbers 3 and 5 were for homework.

Today you worked on describing your daily routine by writing  a paragraph and drawing six scences. Good Job so far. If you didn't turn it in, you may finish for homework.

Announcements: Quiz REFLEXIVE VERBS!!! on Thursday. Were going to be working on a major project starting tomorrow. :)

Friday 10/09 Homecoming!

We went to the media center and practices a lot with reflexive verbs and also sharpened our listening skills with the spanish episodos of Mi vida loca on BBC.
