Monday 29 – Warm up preterite and imperfect. 5th period worked on a superhero story that used both preterite and imperfect. Then we went over the answers. 7th period interviewed the classmates using the imperfect and preterite and then shared their answers with the class. Students started vocabu 5a and 5b.
Homework: Students completed 5A ponga board for homework. We will play to review vocabulary tomorrow.
Tuesday 30th – Students completed a warm up that practiced vocabulary. Then they played ponga “loteria”as a listening activity. Then they learned about irregular verbs in the preterite tense in chapter 5A.
Homework: Students had a vocabulary practice homework.
Wednesday 1st - SPRING FLING. Students in class practiced vocabulary with matamoscas.
Thursday 2nd – Students completed a ½ sheet translation sheet. We went over it as a class. Then we did a whiteboards activity to practice vocabulary. Students were introduced to their final project. They will create a video in which they are reporting the news about a natural disaster. Students had a few minutes to brainstorm with their group.

Friday 3rd - After the warm up, students learned the irregular verbs in 5B. Students learned about 5 de mayo and what the celebration means. They practiced speaking with dice and verbs.
