_{ABSENCES/ MAKE UP POLICY:} 

_{·        The number of days to turn in make-up work will be the same as the number of days you were absent. (This only pertains to excused absences).}

_{·        **Students may not turn in assignments or daily work late except in the case of excused absences. **}

_{·         Make-up tests and quizzes may be completed in Room 315 before school on an appointment basis.  Failure to complete any makeup work will result in grades of zero for the work missed.}

_{·        It is the student’s responsibility to get the work they have missed from the absent crate, from another student or from my blog.}

_{·        Projects may not be turned in late except in the case of excused absences.}

Wednesday 05/13

Spanish III: You worked on your project today. Presentations will start tomorrow.

Spanish II: You worked on the first page of the studyguide. (Chapter 4) and we went over it so that you could make corrections to it. Download IIB Study Guide

Tuesday 05/12

Spanish III: You worked on the final project worth a test grade. It is due on Friday.

Spanish II: You took a test. Remember you have as many days as you were absent to retake it (If you have an excused absence.)

Monday 05/11

Spanish II: Hola Espanol II! Tomorrow you are taking chapter 7 test. I had a study session today after school and will be here in the morning to ask any questions you may have about chapter 7. Thursday 5/7

Spanish II:   Download IIB 7 comparisons of equality. We took notes on comparisons for equality. Remember test on Tuesday!!!

Wednesday 5/6

We took notes on era vs habia. Then you worked on a vocabulary practice sheet 7.2. Remember that we have a chapter 7 test on Tuesday!!! This will be your last test. It will be multiple choice scantron. Make sure you know all the vocabulary and how to conjugate verbs in the imperfect tense. If you need help please let me know...I cam stay some days in the morning or during 3rd period lunch. Please study!! :)

Today we went over indirect object pronouns. Tomorrow we are going to work on dobule pronouns. yikes! It might get confusing so please bring both direct obj and indirect obj organizers.

Tuesday 5/5

Spanish III: We read a packet on 5 de mayo. It is not the Mexican Independence!! :) Then we celebrated and learned about culture.

Spanish II: 4th and 6th completed a packet on 7.2 and read the 5 de mayo packet.

5 and 7th read the 5 de mayo packet and celebrated with food.

Monday 5/4

Spanish III: We reviewed direct object pronouns today. We completed a packet. See me to get one if you were absent.

Spanish II: Today we copied the vocabulary from page 219, only the second section. Then you did activitis in the book and workbook. Remember on Friday I annouced the chapter 7 test on 12th of May. Please study at home for a few minutes. :)

Tuesday 04/28

Spanish II: You started your mini project today. You are going to describe what you did as a child. You will need pictures and clipart for Thursday. I gave the guideliens today. You will present it on Thursday. You will have a quiz tomorrow!! You will need to know the vocabulary of paso 1 and  how to conjugate ar , er and ir verbs. Please study your yellow handout. There will be 2 irregular verbs (ir and ver) Make sure you know how to conjguate these. :)

Spanish III: You continued to work on your three essays. They are due on Friday :) Make sure you send me any rought drafts so that I can mark your errors and you can correct them before you turn them in.

Hola!

Spanish II: We did a speaking activity today. You asked everyone in class (in Spanish) what they did when they were little kids. You graphed the results and presented them to the class. See me for the directions and what to do to make up.
