Summer Work - Pre-AP and AP

You should have received a packet of work from me which includes a little bit of reading comprehension and a review of the present tense (including the imperative mood and the interrogative).  It is very important that you have a handle on these topics as I do not want to spend more than a couple of days on them.  In addition to the packet I would like for you to do the following three things:

1. Visit this website and complete five of the listening assignments.  (To clarify, I want you to listen to five different reportages and complete the accompanying activities.)  Please print the assessments or take a screen shot and email them to me.  http://www.lafrancebis.com
2. Complete the activities on this document: Download Summer Assignment
3. Take the test on the Conjuguemos website.  If you do not have a login for me please email me and I will reply with the necessary information.  http://www.conjuguemos.com (The test should be listed under Quizzes in your Student Zone.  You should practice the present tense - all verbs -before taking this quiz as it includes all of the irregulars.)

If you would like to get a headstart on some point recovery for the coming year I strongly encourage you to visit any or all of the following websites.  Take notes on what you accomplish (vocab learned, grammar you noticed, etc) and give it to me when school starts.

Here is a review activity for the vocabulary for the final exam.  Please note - you may want to do this several times as there is a list of 68 terms and the games only use 30 terms at a time.  http://www.quia.com/jg/1651107.html - There will be twenty-five questions on this vocabulary! 

There are also sections on relative pronouns (qui, que, dont, ce qui, ce que, ce dont, lequel, etc.); object pronouns (le, la, l', les, lui, leur, y, en); si clauses; and subjunctive.  I will do my best to load some practice before 8:00 tonight!

12 mai - FR3

Please review Chapter 10 for class tomorrow - that will be the focus of our review.  On Thursday I am anticipating that many of you will not be in class due to the APUSH exam.  There is a good chance that we will work on point recovery on that day.  Also, if you have any quizzes that need to be made up, that would be a good time for us to take care of that.  Please don't forget that we will start the Exit interviews on Monday of next week!

12 mai - AP

The final exam will have listening, reading and grammar comprehension.  It will be all multiple choice - you don't need to stress over it but I would review some of the verb tenses and listen to a few news broadcasts between now and Monday.  I'll post a few things for you to practice over the next couple of days.

Good luck tomorrow on the AP Lang exam!  Please keep working on your projects - do as much as possible at home so that you can just tidy things up in class on Thursday!  We'll start with the presentations on Friday!
