The alternative assessment can include but is not limited to: powerpoint presentation, board game, short stories, videos, or anything else that you get approved by me. Each one should include all of the following: Empires of India, Han China, Buddhism, Hinduism, Daoism, Aksum, Mali, Songhai, Zimbabwe, Olmec, Zapotec, Nazca, Chavin, Moche, Islam, and Expansion of Islam (All of these topic must be included in the project).

This week we will be studying Islam. We will be talking about the importance of Islam in the Middle East and how it helped to spread the Arabic culture. We will also discuss the impact that Islam has on the world today.

The students will also be given their alternative assessment assignment and it will be due on Monday September 28th
