We completed our first week and are busy working on two projects. The value project with crayons will be due this week. Many are finished so they were introduced to a logo project on Friday. All students will be creating a logo design with their name.
Today, Monday, we have a guest artist for 1st - 3rd periods. A local potter, Diane Quammen, is going to show how to work on the potter's wheel. Our wonderful PTSA and the Cobb County Board of Education work together to sponsor an Artist At School program to allow artists to come in to the schools. We are very fortunate to have a great PTSA to allow us to do this.
