Photography

Photography B students should be busy in class assembling their coffee table books. Photo D students are working on binding their books.

Comprehensive

Students completed the art games last week and will play them Monday and part of Tuesday in class as a review for the final exam.

Ceramics

 All students are completing their final projects. The kiln will be fired with the last glaze firing today. Many students are adding other types of mixed media to their projects which will continue through tomorrow, Tuesday. Seniors finished up in the class on Friday and will be missed! Photos are of some of their final projects.

   

Photography

Photo B students' books were due yesterday for their final project. Today, all of their digitals are due for the coffee table book. Now, the task of designing each page of the book will begin.

Comprehensive

Students have completed their animation cell and have moved into a painting project. We are painting using dots!

Ceramics

All final projects have been made and dried. Now, the kilns are firing almost daily. We are beginning our clean up task also.

Photography

Students have decided on their theme for their Coffee Table Book/final project. Students are to shoot and have digitals ready by May 5th. Prints are due in various sizes on this date. In class, students are doing research as well as two digital shooting assignments.

Comprehensive

Students are to have their cartoon project completed by Friday. We will then move into a take off on an animation cell. These are very cute and the students enjoy creating them.

Ceramics

All Ceramics levels have decided on their final project and are hard at work constructing. Due to projects needing to dry for a week or more before firing, all projects are to be completed and ready to dry by next Wednesday. A calendar is posted in the room for deadline dates on kiln firings.

Photography

Photography B students are working on a card project that is due this week. We had a 3 part digital assignment due on Monday, March 30th. The assignment was to: shoot in the style of Alfred Stieglitz, shoot doors and corners, and car parts. We have also been doing scanner art in class.

Photo D students are now doing scanner art and have just completed creating a card on the computer.
