Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. Although we are not reading this book as part of our study of the Romantic Movement, we will be doing a few activities in reference to the novel. Today we read Shelley's introduction to (and explanation of how she created) Frankenstein. The introduction and background on Shelley is on pg. 758. We read and answered the questions on pg. 765, #s 2,3,4,5, and 7 and discussed in detail.
As a modern reference to Frankenstein we will be watching Edward Scissorhands and completing a film analysis starting tomorrow.
