Week of Jan 23rd - 27th

Math 4  Test over Solving trig equations and Identities will be Tuesday, January 31st!!!

Monday , January 23rd - Students concentrated on solving trigonometric equations. The assignment was 1 - 17 odd of Solving Worksheet #2 

Tuesday, January 24th - Students completed worksheet #2 problems 2 - 16 even.

Wednesday, January 25th - Students worked on more solving now using double angle identities. The assignment is 1- 13 odd from the worksheet.

Thursday, January 26th - Students are completing the solving worksheet that uses double angle identities. The assigment is 2 - 14 even.

Friday, January 27th - Student are working on a review in preparation for the test on Tuesday. **** Students problem #3 on today's worksheet has an error in the equation. It should read secx+1/ tanx = tanx/secx-1.

Week of January 10 - 13th

Welcome Back Students! I hope that you had a wonderful winter break and you are now ready to forge a head an complete the second semester strong.

Math 4

Tueday, January 10th - We will review Sum and Difference Identities by calculating some exact answers, and verifying some identities. The assignment is Worksheet 4: 1 - 13 odd, 43 and 45.

Wednesday, January 11th - Students continue to memorize the sum and difference identities by completing worksheet 4: 2 - 14 even, 47 and 49.

Thursday, January 12th - We will then start constructing and memorizing the Double angles, and half angle formulas for sine, cosine and tangent. The assignment  is worksheet : 1- 6 odd, 21 - 23 odd, 31 -37 odd, 47 - 49 odd.

Friday, January 13th - We continue to learn the double and half angle formulas. The assignment is the completion of yesterday's worksheet. 2 - 6 even, 22 - 24 even. 32 - 38 even, 48 - 50 even.
