German III,IV 4/26 - 4/30

Students finished Rosetta Stone because we are not able to go to Media Center anymore since it will be taken for Testing. 

Students finished and presented their environmental projects (all excellent projects)  and we are now

presenting daily news articles.  We will have daily news articles and also work on National German Exams with a review for the final exam

German II 4/26 - 4/30

Students are working on their last unit for this year.  The unit will cover healthy living, eating and exercise. They are working on a powerpoint project that will have 10 to 15 slides  with suggesstions for the above topic. Students will present next week and bring in a sample of healthy food or drinks.

German I 4/26 - 4/30

We had started with our last unit for the year and have had several vocab quizzes on food and everything that is related to it like grocery stores and restaurants.

Students are working on a project.  They are working on a power point project making a menu for a restaurant of their own or one the exists already. 
Everything will be in German, they present to class and also bring in food (one item from the menu)

Accounting 4/26 - 4/30

Accounting I

Students had a test over Chapter 14, because it was a longer test, they had two days to finish it.

Next week, we have one more chapter to cover and then review for the final exam

Accounting II

Students had a test over Chapter 16, because problems were very long, I gave them 2 days to finish the test.

Next week, we start the last chapter and then review for the final exam.

German III,IV 4/12-4/16

Students were working with Rosetta Stone on Monday and for next two days they will finish the Environmental Project.  They will present Thursday and Friday their power point presentations.

4/13 and 4/14  students were working on environmental project.

4/15  students started presenting environmental projects

4/16  students are presenting environmental projects

MLV.CCC2B Discuss local, regional, and national differences.

German II 4/12-4/16

German II

Students will work on National Exams for practice for this week.  These practice exams have listening and multiple choice sections.  It is good practice for students to hear someone else speaking. 

Next unit will be on healthy living and food.

4/12 - 4/14  students had practice with National German exams.

4/15  students started researching food pyramindes from Germany and America. We will discuss the differences.

German I 4/12-4/16

German I 

students are starting with a new topic of Food, Groceries, Restaurants, shopping, cooking, everything that has to do with food and eating. Students will have several skids and projects throughout this unit.

4/12- 4/14  students are learning a lot of vocabulary connected with our new top.  They need to learn the vocab every night.

4/15  continued learning more terms for vegetables and fruits.  Students need to learn vocab

Accounting I

Started with chapter 14,  "Accounting for Sales and Cash receipts"

Students worked on key terms today and will work on problems and discussing solutions for the week

4/12 - 4/15  students are working with problems in the chapter.

4/16  students are working and discussing problems in chapter

BCS-PAII-10. Students will apply appropriate accounting principles to managerial accounting systems.

a. Explain the role of managerial accounting in the management process.

b. Interpret and explain those costs and accounts that are unique to the manufacturing process.

c. Discuss the cost flow concepts followed by a manufacturing business.

d. Apply job order costing procedures to compute the cost of manufactured products.

e. Prepare a schedule of cost of goods manufactured and explain its relationship to the income statement.

f. Describe the types of products and apply appropriate accounting concepts and procedures for job order and process costing systems.

Accouting II

started with Chapter 16,  "Not-for-Profit Organizations" Budgeting and Control

students worked on key terms today and will work on problems and discussing solutions for the week.

4/12 - 4/16  students are working on problems and discussing any questions
