German III,IV 3/29 - 4/2

Students are still working on activities for the Environment.  We have been working in the workbook and for the next two days we are on the computers for on our power point presentations.

German II 3/29 - 4/2

Students are  still working on Fairy Tales and have daily activities with vocabulary and different assessments.

Students will finish presting their weather report by tomorrow. we have been taking daily quizzes reinforcing the weather vocabulary.  Students need to turn in the timepaket for a higher grade.  (several students have 30 or 50 ) on the paket and they can finish it for a higher grade.  I need it by tomorrow.

We will have several pre activities for our next big unit, everything with shopping, food recipes etc.

Accounting 3/29 - 4/2

Accounting I

we are still working on Payroll/Tax Liabilites Problems in Chapter 13.  Students are going to have an open book assessment for the next two days. On Thursday and Friday we are going to do an SIP lesson learning and discussing the safety regulations in a workplace.

Accounting II

we are still working on Cash Flow Problems in Chapter 13.  Students are going to have an open book assessement for the next 2 days. On Thursday and Friday we are going to do an SIP lesson learning and discussing the safety regulations in a workplace.

Students have been in Media Center for Rosetta Stone and have been working on conditional sentence structure and  indirect speech

German I 3/15 - 3/19

German I  Topic: weather

3/15 - students had more practice using weather vocabulary and pictures to match phrases with pictures.

3/16 - students will start with a project and forecast for four days. They will be a weather person giving the eather report for a TV station by Thursday and Friday.  They should bring material for the poster presentation to be interesting and picturesque.

we started the poster/paper and an outline of our project.  We continue tomorrow.  if it is not done by tomorrow it needs to be taken home and finish to present on Friday.  Project requires a 4-day forcast of any citiy students have chosen, the temparatur for each day in Celcius and Fahrenheit, 3 short sentences of weather vocabulary. Students have 3-5 vocabulary worksheets they can use to correctly present the weather.  They are weatherpeople for a TV Station and have to present in front of the class.

Geman II 3/15 - 3/19

German II  Topic:  Fairy Tales

3/15  students had another day trying to get organized in their groups for performing here in class or outside class making a movie.

3/16  students are reading and working with "Rotkappchen" Fairy Tale today.  thye will be reading and matching pictures with statements and learn vocabulary.
