This week students will finish the Non-Profit advertising project notebook. Presentations will begin at the end of the week.
This week students will explore their career interests by taking a career interest survey, researching one of their career matches and preparing a one page essay on how compatible they are with the career. In addition, students will have the opportunity to explore career choices in designated marketing areas.

This week in Marketing Principles, students will continue working on the Non-Profit Advertising project by completing sections 3, 4, & 5.
This week in Sports Marketing, we will finish our Dream Machine, Inc. product line presentations. We will also complete and article review, online career assessment and begin the exploration of possible Sports & Entertainment Marketing Careers.
This week in Fashion Marketing we will debut the LHS Prom Gown designs via a fashion show in two other Career Tech classes. On Tuesday, we will announce the design winner. Also this week, groups will present their Prom Boutique Promotional Mix ideas and samples.

Download Ad Template We will be working in partner groups to research an existing non-profit organization. Once approved, teams will work to research current marketing / advertising efforts and make recommendations for new ads.
In partner groups, students will work as "Product Managers" to create a new sports-apparel / footwear product line. This project requires market research in the areas of market share, trends and opportunities and target market. Presentations will begin on Wednesday, 3/11.
