Students will have a test in World Geography over Cultural Geography on FRIDAY.  They have a list of terms and definitions that they need to be familiar with and they will also need to understand how to use materials and keys on a map to read information.

Thursday- Review Puritans and Rationalism and persuasive appeals

Open Note POP QUIZ

**NEW** We have changed our policy for current events.  We now are only going to require one current even per unit.  It is imperative that students follow the template exactly because the first current events were not done properly for the most part.  Students were given another hand out with the requirements and a packet explaining how to properly cite their article in MLA format.

Students played vocabulary BINGO with new terms related to culture.

Ms. Hollifield- WG- 9/20

Students finished working on the reading guide for 6.1 and we reviewed the material.  Students also grouped the 50 States into different regions to help better understand physical geography and how it affects the US.

Monday- Writing Lab to finish Debate- DUE TOMORROW

Tuesday- Ms. Kappel will be in the lab from 7:45- 8:10 if students need to print.  DEBATES DUE.  Students must submit an electronic copy of the debate to turnitin.com by midnight tonight.

2. Sign in to the correct American Lit class:

Wednesday-Friday- Present Great Debate

American lit- Guinn- Week of 9/19

Monday- Vocab Lesson 4 cards due Friday, exercises are due tomorrow.

Tuesday- Vocab 4 Exercises due. Media Center to finish typing the Great Debate

Wednesday-Thursday- Present Debate- Students MUST have their debate printed BEFORE coming to class on Wednesday or it will result in a 20% deduction per day the assignment is late.

Friday- Vocab cards due- Vocab 4 quiz
