9th Honors - Friday, September 30th

We continued our movie from last Friday.

Venn Diagrams and District worksheets were collected.

Vocabulary Quiz for Unit #2 is Monday, October 3rd.  Occasionally, words from previous units will be repeated on quizzes.  Scroll down here for a list of all of the words from both Unit One and Unit Two.

Rough draft of Hunger Games paper is due at the beginning of class on Tuesday, October 4th.

Hunger Games project is due, for a major grade, on Wednesday, October 5th.

British Literature Honors - Friday, September 30th

We had a work day.  Everyone was present, so you should know that.  :)

Students worked on Macbeth background notes and Act One questions.  Reflective Writings were collected.

Remember that your Vocabulary Quiz for Unit #2 is Monday, October 3rd.  You will write the definition, part of speech, and a sentence using the word correctly for six of the ten words.  Also, there will be a word from the last unit.  All words are posted right here on the blog for your review.  Scroll down.

Macbeth mini-research is due at the beginning of the period on Wednesday, October 5th.

1st period received their graded Beowulf essay and we viewed and discussed this Power Point.  Everyone was in attendance in first period.

British Literature Honors - Wednesday, September 28th

MLA assignments were collected.  If you were absent, turn yours in upon your return.
