Today, students received a handout/checklist detailing the step by step process of persuasive writing. Students then brainstormed, using a T-chart and discussed writing an effective thesis statement. Students also viewed a PowerPoint on how to write an effective introduction, and they began revising their GHSWT benchmark introductions (due at the beginning of class tomorrow).
