World Literature Monday 10/31

Today, students read from the Panchatantra: "Numskull and the Rabbit" pg.220 and discussed the role of fables in Ancient Indian culture.  After reading and discussing, students shared and turned in their children's book adaptations of "Rama and Ravana in Battle"

American Literature Monday 10/31

Today, students finished reading "The Crucible" Act III and completed their Act III study guides (complete sentences).

Important Reminders:  Please have your copy of "The Crucible" or your Literature Book in class tomorrow.

World Literature Friday 10/28

Today, students continued working on their children's book and comic adaptations of "Rama and Ravana in Batlle" from the Ramayana (due Monday 10/31).

Today, students continued working on their children's book and comic adaptations of "Rama and Ravana in Batlle" from the Ramayana (due Monday 10/31).

World Literature Wednesday 10/26

Today, students finished reading "Rama and Ravana in Battle" from the Ramayana.  Students must create a 10 page children's book or 10 frame comic.  This book or comic must be an adaptation of "Rama and Ravana" from the Ramayana, be colorful, and reflect the general plot of the epic.  Most of all, the story MUST be kid friendly.  The book is due on Monday 10/31.

Today, students continued reading "The Crucible" Act II and working on their study guide (complete sentences).

World Literature Tuesday 10/25

Today, students read a selection enititled" The Battle of Rama" from the Ramayana (pg. 208).  Students must have read this selection to participate in tomorrow's activity.

Today, students took the Cobb County American Literature Benchmark Test.
