This Week(4/25--4/29): Your Literary Analysis Research Essay is due WEDNESDAY 4/27! Don't forget to submit to turnitin.com by Wednesday at 11:59 and don't forget to include your essay, works cited page, and copies of your secondary sources with highlighted passages in a clasp envelope. On Monday you will take one final AP multiple choice practice test. We will continue our analysis of Heart of Darkness the remainder of the week.

AP Literature

This Week(4/11--4/15): Welcome back! I really hope you formed those reading groups we talked about as part of your Spring Break activities...now you know first hand that reading Crime & Punishment on the beach has its appeal, and its merits. We'll start the week with Wordmasters (we placed 4th in the nation last round, so you need to bring your word mastery!) and then I will explain the literary analysis research paper. On Tuesday you will participate in the third and final small group discussion of your independent novel and I will collect your novel to grade annotations. On Wednesday you will write, on Thursday we'll work on developing your thesis for your essay, and on Friday we'll talk poetry after we read some.
