Morgan Thomas Scholarship Fund
The Metro-Marietta Kiwanis Club established the Morgan Thomas Scholarship. The award is primarily based on community service, financial need and a minimum 2.5 GPA. Alpha Kappa Alpha College Prep Club
The PEARL Foundation & Rho Zeta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority sponsor this seminar which focuses on the college admissions process, financial aid, college entrance exams and the college experience. Applications are available in the School Counseling Office and are due April 22nd.
Will to Win Scholarship
Merck Respiratory sponsors the Will to Win Scholarship for seniors who are outstanding, disciplined, determined and successful in managing their asthma. Scholarships of $5,000 will be awarded to two seniors in each of the following categories: Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Community Service, Athletics and Science. Summer Programs
Exploring Engineer Academy @ Georgia Tech
A week-long engineering program sponsored in conjunction with the Georgia Engineering Foundation and the Exloring Program an affiliate career education program of the Boy Scouts of America is being held on the Georgia Tech Campus from June 5-10. Students will be given hands-on experience in the field of engineering. Applications are available at www.atlantabsa.org. FFA Wildlife Camp and FFA Horse Camp
The FFA Wildlife Camp is a week-long residential summer camp for boys and girls. The goal of the program is to increase safety, awareness, and appreciation of wildlife and outdoor sports among young boys and girls in an exciting and dynamic environment. The FFA Horse Camp is a week-long camp where students learn personalized horse riding, safety instruction, barn management, equine grooming, health and basic first aid. Cambridge College Programme
The Cambridge College Programme targets high achieving high school students at the University of Cambridge, England. The program offers academic courses, excursions around England, and sports. Information and applications can be found at www.cambridgecollegeprogramme.org
