GPS Algebra - Week of 10-24-11

This week we are working on solving rational equations and radical equations.

The homework is in the book tonight on page 178 #1-15 odd.  Since the odd answers are in the back of the book, check your answers. However, to get credit for each question, you must show your work, not just the answer.

Math 2 Week of 10-24-11

This week we wrap up our unit on right triangles.

Test - 10-27-11 Thursday Right Triagles. Includes SOH-CAH-TOA and special right triangles; 30-60-90 and 45-45-90.

Friday is our Benchmark Test for the first semester.  This assessment will be taken on iRespond.  Remember to send after every multiple choice answer you choose.  Otherwise you will recieve no score for that answer.

Tutoring is available: M-F 7:45-810 am and w-Th 3:30 - 4:00

GPS Algebra - Week 10-10-11

Thursday 10-13-11 is our Test on the factoring unit. It is important to study previous quizzes and homework.

Tomorrow is the PSAT during 1st and 2nd period. If you are in need of extra help, please come in at 7:45 or after school Wed. and Thursday.

You must know how to factor.  Use the order of factoring as we have talked about in class. 

Factoring:

1. GCF 2. Difference of 2 squares 3. Grouping  4. Trinomials

Follow the notes given in class yesterday and today also for a study tool.
