Remember to graph a parabola, you need at least three points; the vertex, roots, y- intercept and its symmetric point. Always mark the line of symmetry with a dotted line as shown in the answer key.
Also, you will need to study your notes on how to find the discriminant: b2 - 4ac, if = 0, there is one real root, if > 0, there are two real roots, if < 0, there are two imaginary roots.
The quadratic formula may always be used to find the roots, however, it is easier to factor for some equations.
