Hello, welcome back to school!
This should be an exciting year. We have six units to cover in Math 2 the first of which is the Great Quadratic. I love math and hope that you will be inspired to enjoy the class while learning. This class will prepare you for your future math classes and college. I hope that you will be proactive in your education. The secret to a successful year is to listen carefully in class, take notes, ask questions, complete classwork/homework, come to extra help sessions and get involved in something that you are interested in outside of academics.
I am adding a parent letter from the state on the blog page for each unit. It has supportive information and is very helpful. So, check it out.
My extra help sessions for the Spring Semester are: M-F - 7:45-8:05am / Tues. and Wed. - 3:35 - 4:00pm in room #302. Some mornings or afternoons I may have meetings, so let me know that you need to come in and I will check for conflicts.
I am looking forward to a great year.
Eliazbeth Leonard is my co-teacher in 2nd, 3rd, and 5th period. You may also refer to her blog for information. http://lhsblogs.typepad.com/leonard/
