Informal Algebra II

We are learning how to solve systems of equations by using several different methods. Next week we will also be solding word problems involving systems of equations. On Thursday Oct. 23 a quiz is scheduled over the four methods we have learned on solving systems. The chapter 4 test is scheduled for Thursday Nov. 6th at the present time.

Please remind your student that extra help is available before and after school. Also, the extra help sessions are still being held during their lunch period to review for the Exit Exam that will be taken in the spring.

We are still learning ways to divide polynomials. Also, this week each student was shown a printout of their current grade at the half way mark of the first semester. They were told about all the extra help that is available here at school for no charge. They were informed that they must have an average of 70 in order to pass a class in high school. Hopefully, they will begin to take advantage of the extra help sessions before and after school.
