BVP IIIB & IVB Update

LNN rolls on.  We have a new open and new closing credits.  Other segments being produced are celebrity look a likes, a psa for the upcoming Battle of the Bands and a segment on the construction that is happening around campus.  Check out todays show and broadcast from last semester at the link below.

BVP IIB Update

The first Uncommon Ground of the semester is completed with mixed results.  We are learning to edit on the i Movie 11 version and we are experiencing some technical problems with exporting.  We do have Producers established for the next show and they have approved the segments.  The teams have started to shoot their segments.  Please go to the link below to view the latest Uncommon Ground and past shows from last semester.

BVP IB Update

Editing of the documentaries will be finished by the beginning of next week.  We will then watch them, constructively critique them and grade them.  We will then start a unit on stido and field lighting.  They will be able to identify the difference between a floodlight and spotlight, name the 3 lights in a lighting triangle and recognize color temperature.  They will present their material, go over a study guide and take a lighting test.

BVP IIB Update

The first show of the semester will be completed by Monday.  The Uncommon Ground crew has produced a new open and new closing credits.  They will be assigned their invidual major video project next month.

BVP IB Update

The unit on genres continues.  They are working on their documentaries, which involves researching, interviewing and editing.  They must have a pre-production, a production and a post-production.  The documentaries will be completed by next Friday.

BVP IIIB/IVB Update

I hope everyone had a great holiday break.  The LNN crew goes right back into full production.  They are producing a new open and new closing credits.  Their 1st live broadcast should air/streamed next week Friday.

I hope everyone had a great holiday break.  So, get back to work!  The Uncommon Ground show goes right back into production.  They will produce a new open and a new closing credits for the show.  And they will be 2 segments produced for the the first show of this semester.

BVP IB Update

I hope everyone had a great holiday break.  But it's time to get back to work in BVP IB.  We've started this semester learning about the different genres in television and film.  Genres can range from comedy to horror to romance to fantasy to science fiction to documentary.  The first graded project is they have to produce a mini-documentary, which involves research, questions for interviews and edit all the required elements that are on the rubric.
