BVP IIIA & IVA Update

Another awsomw job by the TrojanTron crew with the Jumbotron production Friday night!  We had position setting, default, re-set and s-video cable problems.  But, guess what?  These kids pulled it off and had another great production.  Our live broadcasts continue to go well.  Please remember that you can watch the live broadcasts and the football games live streamed at the link below.

BVP IA Update

Winding down the "open ended" video which emphasizes specific storyboards and following a continuity format script.  Will be done editing today and will watch them tomorrow.  Then we begin a major unit on audio and microphones.  The students will identify pick up patterns, different types of mics and the importance of quality audio.  They will begin to think with their ears and not just their eyes.

Our Jumbotron productions continue to Division I college level.  We still have some technical issues, but the crew for that specific game pulls it off and no one in the stadium knows.  Our LNN live broadcasts are going well.  We had a very good show today.  We continue to stream our show live during advisement.  AND, DON'T FORGET you can watch all broadcasts at the link below.

BVP IIA Update

The latest version of Uncommon Ground showed noticeable improvement in the quality of the show.  We watch Kell's and Allatoona's show to create incentive for Uncommon Ground to be better.  On camera host were much more animated and the segments were well edited and produced.  I can feel alot more excitement in the classroom to produce a more quality production.  On Monday we will post the most recent show at the link below.

BVP IA Update

We completed a unit on scripts and storyboards.  They created a script and storyboards for their 60 second TV commercial.  They understand that "time is money" and their commercials must be exactly 60 seconds.  They have just begun an "open ended" video project where each group must decide how they want to end a story that requires following the rubrics 25 shots and then storyboarding and shooting their ending.  A minimum of 10 shots are required to end their story.
