BVP IIIB & IVB Update

The LNN crew just completed a friendly film festival competition.  They had to follow the strict rules that are used during the Cobb County Shot Movie Extravaganza competition.  The BVP I and BVP II were the judges.  There was no newscast today because of the Honors Award Ceremony in the gym.

BVP IIB Update

Just completed editing their respective shows.  Their shows will be posted at ghsa.tv/lassiter.  And, of course, the dreaded Video Autobiographies still need to be worked on individually.

BVP IB Update

All groups have completed their Control Room training.  They are learning the basic operation of the TelePrompTer, audio mixer and production switcher.  Their final video project requires that they use the studio and control room for at least one scene.  They will also be tested individually on the studio and control room as part of their final grade.  They are finishing editing of their interview technique video.

BVP IIIB & IVB Update

Great newscast this morning!  We're adding more fullscreen graphics to the show to get the information out to the viewer/school.  We had a well edited video they showed the highlights from the Academic Pep Rally that was on Wednesday.  Also, had well produced commercial for the upcoming Cinderella play.  This newscast will be posted at  ghsa.tv/lassiter 

BVP IIB Update

On Camera Hosts intos and tosses have been shot.  Waiting on one segment to be edited and the the producers will put the show together.  I will remind them several times a week NOT to procrastinate on their Video Autobiographies.

BVP IB Update

This class is learning how to prepare for and conduct a proper interviewing session.  They will then produce their own interview shows.  They will make it as realistic as possible which a show open and a promo within the show.  They have also been identifying parts of the studio cameras and performing Director's commands with the cameras.  Next week they will be in the Control Room identifying and using teleprompter, the audio board and the production switcher.

BVP IIIB & IVB Update

The LNN crew are working on various projects for their "live" newscast which airs during advisement on Tuesday and Fridays.  Hope to have a video on Lassiter's spring sports team for tomorrow.

BVP IIB Update

The Bees Knees and The Show Fo Sho continue with the editing of their segments for their respective shows.  And they are being reminded not to procrastinate on their Video Autobiographies.

BVP IB Update

These students have just completed their lyric approved music videos with pretty good results.  They had to complete a professional document (video treatment) to coincide with the video.  They are now starting the unit on the TV studio and Control Room.  They will learn to identify the TV studio cameras, telepromter, audio board, and production switcher.  They are also learning proper interviewing techniques for their 1 camera edited interview project.
