BVP III & IV Update

The LNN crew is busy producing an 8th grade orientation video that Missy Morse will show the 8th graders when she visits Simpson and Mabry in March.  Another crew is also producing a 1 minute commercial pertaining to the upcoming prom.  This commercial will air during our live announcements.

BVP IIB Update

The Bees Knees and The Sho Fo Show have completed their 3rd episode.  After the break it's business as usual as they get new segments approved by the Producers and go into production mode.

BVP IB Update

Continuity/Jump Cut video projects are completed.  I was very glad to see very few jump cuts in all of the projects.  The groups are completing their powerpoint presentations concerning the unit on lighting.  They will present, go over a study guide and take a test on lighting after the break.

BVP IIIB & IVB Update

Business as usual for the LNN crew.  Preparing for tomorrows live telecast.  We'll have 2 video segments on Valentines day and scholarships availability.  They're also producing a video to show the 8th graders when Missy Morse visits the middle schools in March.

BVP IIB Update

The 2 shows are preparing to use the studio and control room to produce their OCH (on camera host) intros for the individual segments for each show.  The producers will import the segments and OCH intros to edit together their uniques style of show.

BVP IB Update

The continuity/jump cut videos are completed.  We will be watching/grading them tomorrow.  Next week we start the unit on lighting with a jigsaw activity where each group researches a few aspects of studio and field lighting and makes a power point with their information.  Then they help teach the information that they obtained to the other students.  They will use a DVD-Rom and actual studio and field lights as part of their presentation.

BVP IIIB & IVB Update

LNN keeps on rolling along.  Should have 2 well produced segments for tomorrow's show.  One segment is about Lassiter's awsome swim team.  And the other segment is concerning possible internships available to students in a variety of fields.

 

 

BVP IIB Update

THe Bees Knees and The Show Fo Sho rolls on.  On Monday they will be assigned their Video Autobiography.  This is an individual assignment that will be 30% of their final grade.  They have until the last day of school to complete this project, so no student can claim that they weren't given adequate time to complete this major project.

BVP IB Update

They have finished shooting the required shots for their contnuity video.  They are editing the shots according to their shot-sheets.  They must avoid any and all jump cuts.  The unit on studio and field lighting will follow this project.
