Welcome Back! I hope your year is off to a great start. We will be focusing on building fundamental playing skills in the first part of the fall semester. We encourage band students to have their own metronome and tuner (make sure you label it with your name!). There are also some wonderful smartphone metronome and tuner apps if you would prefer to use those.
The first playing test of the year for Sym II and Woodwind Tech is due on Tuesday, August 30th. It is the All-State Lyrical Etude and it can be found on Smartmusic.
Woodwind Technique Class- Woodwind Notebooks should be complete and have been turned in to be checked for your first grade in Pinnacle. Please see me with your completed notebook if you do not have a grade.
Lassiter Marching Trojan Band- No rehearsals or performances this weekend! Enjoy some time off!! First home game against Sprayberry is Friday, September 2nd. Make sure you are working on the National Anthem.
