Symphonic Band Camp is this Friday, Feb 26th. 

Concert II will rehearse during 1st and 2nd periods and after school from 4-9pm. Dinner is provided.

Sym II will rehearse during 5th, 6th, and 7th periods and after school from 4-9pm. Lunch and dinner will be provided.

Students are excused from the classes with permission from Mr. Shaw. We have clinicians coming to rehearse the bands during the day and both clinicians and section coaches after school

Sym II 

Before and After School Rehearsals are now for woodwind and brass/percussion choirs. Please check your schedules. Preparation for Festival is going well. Make sure you are continuing to work with tuners as you practice and work out ALL the technique issues.

Concert II

We will continue to work on the back part of the march. Make sure you can play all the technique in Sparks at 160.

Standards Utilized:

PS2: Understand the system, vocabulary, theory, and the conventions necessary to read and notate music in grade III/VI literature.

PS4: Analyze and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of performances by applying the specific criteria appropriate to level III/VI literature.
