Symphonic Band Camp has been scheduled for Friday and Saturday, February 12th and 13th. (Concert II only needs to attend on Saturday afternoon.)

Sym II 

We will complete euphonium, tuba, alto saxophone, and trumpet auditions this week. Results will be posted as soon as everyone takes their audition.

We will begin working on Arabesque this week. All notes and rhythms need to be in place by next week in preparation for Sym Camp.

Concert II

Prepare for your rhythmic playing test that we will start on Wednesday, Feb 3rd

We will begin on your concert festival music this week. All notes and rhythms for Silverbrook and Sparks need to be in place for next Saturday's Sym Camp.

Standards Utilized:

PS2: Understand the system, vocabulary, theory, and the conventions necessary to read and notate music in grade III/VI literature.

PS4: Analyze and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of performances by applying the specific criteria appropriate to level III/VI literature.
