WINTER AUDITIONS are tomorrow. Auditions will take place in the late afternoon and evening hours. Students may sign-up for an Audition Time on Monday. WOODWIND TECHNIQUES The band will have some time to prepare for their WInter Audition. Students will continue to work on concert music for the Winter Concert. The students will play Playing Test 2 on Smartmusic computers during class. Standards Utilized: PS2: Understand the system, vocabulary, theory, and the conventions
necessary to read and notate music in grade III literature.
PS4: Analyze and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of performances
by applying the specific criteria appropriate to level III literature. Assignments: Practice for tomorrow's Winter Audition and the WInter Concert. SYM II Students will have some time to prepare for their audition tomorrow night. We will also work on concert music for the Winter Concert. Students will also focus on ensemble sound and balance as the weeks progress. The students will continue to take their scale test.
