WORLD LIT:
- Students watched a film called The Wave, a metaphor for Nazi Germany.
- REMINDER: Vocab quiz on Monday!! Have your packets or notecards done!
- REMINDER: Night 6-9 quiz on Tuesday!! Have your question sheets done!
NINTH LIT:
- Students toured the room they will take the EOCT in, room 500. They need to meet in this room on the 11th and 12th.
- They then worked in their lit circles to work on chapters 10 – 20 of To Kill a Mockingbird.
- REMINDER: TKAM quiz on Monday!! The following jobs need to have their work done for each chapter:
- Discussion Facilitator: four discussion questions from each chapter.
- Vocab Enricher: five words from each chapter defined
- Summarizer: a three-sentence long summary for each chapter
- Passage Picker: a quote for each of the three themes per chapter: prejudice and tolerance, deceptive appearances, and courage and cowardice.
