WORLD LIT:

• Students finished reading Night and received their chapters 6 through 9 questions.  These need to be finished by Tuesday, the day of their quiz, and can be downloaded here: Download Chapter Seven - Nine Questions

NINTH LIT:

• Students were again in the lab to work on EOCT prep to get ready for their upcoming test.

WORLD LIT:

• Students had ten minutes of study time before taking their chapter 1-5 quiz.  Questions were also turned in then.
• After finishing, students read chapter six of Night.  This should be finished for homework.

NINTH LIT:

• Students worked on their reading groups for the entire period.  The quiz over chapters 10 - 20 will take place on Monday, May 4th.

WORLD LIT:

• Students read chapter 5 of Night and copied down their  questions from the board.  Reminder: your quiz is tomorrow!!!

NINTH LIT:

• Students were in the lab working on EOCT prep to get ready for their upcoming test.

• Students spent the period working on their questions for chapters one through four, studying in  preparation for their quiz on Wednesday.

NINTH LIT:

• Students took their chapter 1-9 quiz.  Students who failed may makeup their quizzes on Thursday morning.

• Students read chapter four of Night and completed their questions in  preparation for  their quiz on Tuesday.

WORLD LIT:

• Students studied for a few minutes before taking their vocabulary quizzes.
• After their quizzes, they worked on their questions for chapters 2 and 3 of Night, which can be downloaded  here: Download Chapter Two - Four Questions

NINTH LIT:

• Students studied for a few minutes before taking their vocabulary quizzes.
• They then moved to their reading circles and continued reading chapters 1-9  of To Kill a Mockingbird. A quiz will be given on monday.

WORLD LIT:

• Students copied questions from Chapter One off the board then had a quick discussion about it before continuing on to Chapter Two and Three.  Students need to finish reading chapter three for homework.

NINTH LIT:

• Students took notes on To Kill a Mockingbird and the Scottsboro Nine.  These notes can be downloaded here: Download Mockingbird Scottsboro

WORLD LIT:

• Students began reading Elie Wiesel's  Night.  They need to finish reading chapter 1 for homework.  The guided reading questions will  be on the board tomorrow but can be downloaded here in advance: Download Chapter One Questions

NINTH LIT:

• Students used the "Praise, Question, Polish" format to edit each other's papers.  These essays are due TOMORROW, April 21st!!!

• Students continued working on their Odyssey essay.  This will be due on Tuesday, April 21st.
