• Students continued their reviews and received their essay topics in advance thanks to good behavior.  Those can be downloaded here: Download Ninth Essay Topics and Download Tenth Essay Topics
• REMEMBER! You may bring one notecard to the exam with you!  If it is a 4x6, you may only write on one side but you may write on both sides of a 3x5 card.  Typing up the notes is allowed.

WORLD LIT:

• Students presented their Annotated Bibliography Tri-fold projects!

NINTH LIT:

• Students watched the film version of To Kill a Mockingbird.

WORLD LIT:

• Students worked on their group projects, gathering research for their Annotated Bibliography cards.   REMEMBER!!! This is due tomorrow!  You must have:
  •  10 Annotated Bibliography cards
    • Six must be from textual sources (books, newspapers, magazines)
    • Four may be from the internet
    • EACH CARD MUST HAVE A 150 WORD ANNOTATION ON ONE SIDE AND THE PROPER CITATION ON THE OTHER!
  • 1 Tri-fold posterboard which must have:
    • The "basic idea" paragraph consisting of no less than 8 sentences.
    • Ten "interesting ideas"
    • 5 pictures with captions
    • A pocket, folder, or baggie containing your Annotated Bibliography cards.
  • YOUR A.B. CARDS ARE WORTH 70% OF THE GRADE.  THE PROJECT IS WORTH 10% OF YOUR FINAL GRADE!

NINTH LIT:

• Students finished reading To Kill a Mockingbird and had a class discussion about it.

• Students recapped chapters 1 - 24 of TKAM then read in class through chapter 27.  If it was not finished in class, it must be finished for homework!
