You began class with a review of slope. You were given a handout with 8 slope problems included on it. You were to plot the two points on the graph provided for you and then determine the slope by using rise over run. Of course you could have used the slope formula to check your work as well. After you were given time to complete this assignment in class, the solutions were worked out for you during class one at a time.
I then explained to you how I graded the Lesson 2.11 Practice Worksheet. This assignment was graded for accuracy and you were made aware of this prior to it being turned in. You were given seven problems to complete on the worksheet and each problem had three parts. Each part was worth five points, so each problem was worth 15 points. You could have earned a 105%.You were given seven problems to complete on the worksheet and each problem had three parts. Each part was worth five points, so each problem was worth 15 points. I returned the graded Lesson 2.11 Practice Worksheet to you and gave you a few minutes to look it over. We then went through as a class # 10, 12, and 15. After we finished going over these problems, you were provided a worked-out solution key to keep.

We went through a PowerPoint for the notes on Lesson 3.1, which is Graphing Cubic Functions. Tomorrow we will complete the PowerPoint by going over several examples.
The homework assignment for today is to review your notes from today and make sure to bring your textbook to class tomorrow.
*Although there is no written homework assignment tonight, you may want to begin the homework assignment for tomorrow (see your calendar).
