GPS Algebra Support Classes
You turned in your Spiral Notebook. Your Spiral Notebook was graded in class and returned to you. I also gave you the grade sheet for the Spiral Notebook Check.
You were given a practice worksheet to complete during class. You had six problems where you had to find the slope of the graphed line by using rise over run and then 12 problems where you had to calculate the slope between the given two points by using the slope formula. We spent some time reviewing slope and I even had you write a few notes on the back of the handout to help you. I did # 1 and 7 with you in class. This assignment was turned in at the end of the class period.
GPS Algebra Classes
We went through a PowerPoint Presentation on Graphing Linear Functions. This is Lesson 1.7 in your textbook that begins on page 38.
You were then given back your Translation Investigation Packet that you turned in yesterday. These were graded for completion only. I went over all of the correct answers with you and gave you an opportunity to make any corrections and ask questions if necessary.
The homework assignment for today is: page 41 #30-32 and page 43 # 28-30. All of these problems require you to graph a linear function. Be sure to use graph paper.
*Also if you did not complete the homework assignment from Monday (page 41 #2, 8, 14, 16, and 26-28; page 42 #36-38; page 53 #1-8) for whatever reason, then you have one more day to complete it. Both of these assignments are due when you come to class tomorrow.
